The PASCH Initiative
Arousing interest and enthusiasm for Germany, motivating young people to learn German and creating a worldwide network of schools – these are the goals of the PASCH initiative. PASCH stands for “Schulen: Partner der Zukunft”. The initiative networks more than 2,000 schools in 120 countries where German is particularly important. With a variety of offers, over 600,000 students worldwide are supported in their language skills.
Since the old website of the PASCH initiative was getting on in years, we were commissioned with the conception, design and development of a target group-oriented appearance. In addition to restructuring the information architecture, we were responsible for optimizing the user experience in order to achieve a higher level of engagement with the primarily young target group. The result is a website with a user-friendly look and feel and high recognition value.
Learning material with filter function
Through a variety of filter options, content can be tailored to the requirements and needs of the user.
Students can access an extensive range of learning materials, competitions, teaching materials and much more on the website. They are encouraged to express their own opinions on various topics and participate in discussions with other students. The intercultural dialogue thus created broadens the students’ knowledge of individual subject areas and of the German language in general.
Although the predominantly young target group of the PASCH Initiative is very smartphone-oriented, the old website of the PASCH Initiative was not optimized for mobile devices. After the redesign of the site, the full range of functions is now accessible on all devices without barriers.
