About the project
What was your last dream? What is home for you? What does identity mean to you? Inspired by the artist Shirin Neshat, the Pinakothek der Moderne wanted to collect the answers of its exhibition visitors to these questions in the form of texts and images. The aim was to visualize these “resonances” both via a website and in the exhibition itself.
UX/UI Design
During the implementation, we designed a minimalist interface that allows the viewer to answer the questions posed in just a few clicks.
On-site realisation
In order to visualize the “resonances” in the exhibition rooms of the Pinakotheken in real time, a Raspberry Pi was coupled with one of the exhibition monitors. The Raspberry Pi accesses a website developed especially for this purpose, whose only task is to provide the “resonances” in an appealing layout for the monitor.
Chatbot as CMS
The goal was to be able to moderate the visitors’ contributions around the clock with a minimum of effort. For this purpose, we developed a Telegram chatbot that serves as a content management system. Each new post is announced by the chatbot in a Telegram group and can be quickly confirmed or deleted from there if it violates the content guidelines.
