Bot powered communication platform for cryptocurrencies

The Takeoff Collective is an association of friends and crypto traders. In order to improve communication between the members, we developed several bots that collect a wide variety of information and visualise it for the entire collective. The instant messaging service Slack is used as the basic platform for this.

Via the API in trading platforms such as Binance, HitBTC or Bitpanda, trading activities of individual members are analysed and transmitted to the Slack Workspace. This information is transmitted in real time as soon as a “buy” or “sell” order is placed on one of the platforms.

In order to always be up to date with the publication of news about individual coins (cryptocurrencies), web crawlers are used. These collect information from various news portals such as Twitter, Google Trends or Medium and transmit it to the Takeoff Collective as soon as it is published.

The cryptocurrency market moves fast, very fast! In order to be able to react accordingly to what is happening in the market, it is crucial to receive information everywhere and as fast as possible. Since the instant messaging service Slack also provides an app for mobile devices, we can broadcast all information to the collective via notifications and in the app itself.
